Managing your inquiries

In certain cases, you can receive booking inquiries as well as instant bookings. For example, if you have added the Smily booking widget into your own website, it will be possible for guests to send inquiries.

When you receive a booking inquiry, you will be informed by email and you can open your inquiry in the inquiries section in Smily.

From here you can convert the inquiry into a reservation:

  1. Go to the Inquiries section
  2. Choose the inquiry you would like to convert into a new booking and click on Load in a new booking
  3. If necessary, enter any additional booking details (all other information will be loaded automatically, as it was entered into the inquiry form on your website)
  4. Click Create

Please note that your rental will be published on the online booking platforms (such as Airbnb and Booking.com) for instant bookings. So guests can book and pay online for dates that are available on your Smily calendar. It is not possible to deactivate instant bookings.
