Payment transfers to your bank account

Our system has a payment gateway integrated into it, so you have nothing to worry about for your payments!

Payments managed by Smily

Smily will take care of your payments through our integrated payment gateway. For bookings made on the channels connected with Smily (except Airbnb, see below), the guest will pay online via the Smily payment gateway. You will receive your payment for each booking by bank transfer.

When will I receive my money for my bookings?

Booking payments are released the day after the departure of the guest (check-out +1) and the transfers to your bank account take place on a weekly basis, every Monday.

So, for a booking with departure on a Tuesday, the money would be released on the Wednesday and the transfer would be sent the following Monday. It can then take between 2 and 7 days for the money to reach your bank account.

How much will I receive for my bookings?

The transfer that you receive corresponds to the total amount paid by the customer, less the channel's commission and the Smily service fees of 9% + VAT (10.8% including VAT).

Guests pay the platform's service fees directly to the platform on top of the price of your rental. As a result, the total price that the guest pays will be higher than the amount that you are transferred. As the article Set up your rates explains, you don't have to worry about these charges, because our tool will automatically increase the prices that are configured in Smily to cover the commission and host fees of the platform.

Direct or offline balance payments

Sometimes, your guests might pay the balance for their bookings directly to you (in cash or by cheque, for example).

If the guest paid the downpayment for their booking online via Smily, all fees will be deducted from this downpayment. So you will receive a transfer to your bank account for the down payment amount less the channel's commission and the Smily service fees of 9% + VAT (10.8% including VAT).

For bookings from Airbnb.

Airbnb takes care of all guest payments for bookings made on their platform. For your Airbnb bookings, Airbnb will collect the payment from the guest and make a transfer to your bank account.

When will I receive my money for my Airbnb bookings?

Airbnb collects the money for your bookings and generally releases your transfer around 24 hours after the planned arrival of the guest.

It can then take between 3 and 7 working days for the funds to arrive in your account.

Many banking systems don't do transfers on weekends or bank holidays. If a transfer is made from Airbnb between Friday and Sunday, it may not be done until the following week.

If your guest is staying in your property for 28 nights or more, the transfers for their booking are done monthly.

How much will I receive for my Airbnb bookings?

The transfer that you will receive will correspond to the price as configured in Smily.

Guests pay Airbnb service fees on top of the price of your rental. Smily takes care of these service fees for you - our tool will automatically increase the prices that are configured in Smily to cover the Airbnb fees. Airbnb will then deduct their fees before making a transfer to you.

So the total booking price paid by the guest will be the price configured in Smily plus the Airbnb fees. The Airbnb fees are then deducted automatically and you receive the price configured in Smily.

Airbnb also takes care of the tourist tax for you, so this will be charged to the guest and transferred to the local authority.

You can see the amount that you will receive for your Airbnb bookings in the booking in your Smily account:

How will the Smily service fees be charged for Airbnb bookings?

The Smily service fee will be charged to your credit card on the day after the departure of the guest.

Invoicing

For each payout to your bank account, an invoice will be generated and available in the section https://app.bookingsync.com/settings/billing of your account.

You can find more details about the invoicing in this article of our manual: https://manual.smily.com/en/how-is-the-service-invoiced
